Benji Terms of Use (draft)

This is a pre-release draft for the Benji beta and not yet a final legal document.

1. The Benji mesh

Benji is powered by a shared compute mesh. By installing and using the Benji desktop app you agree that, subject to the contribution controls in Settings, your device may serve approved AI workloads for other Benji users while it has spare capacity. In return your account earns compute credits. Contribution is bounded by your settings (plugged-in only, idle only, GPU, storage and bandwidth caps) and can be paused at any time.

2. Privacy

Prompts classified as sensitive are processed only on your own device. Mesh workloads run inside a sandboxed worker with no access to your files, and every answer discloses where it was computed.

3. Acceptable use

You may not use Benji or the mesh for unlawful content, to attempt to extract other users' data, or to interfere with mesh operation.
