Benji for desktop
The full Benji: bigger local models, automatic routing across the network, tools and scheduled work, and spare compute that earns you premium capacity.

The Windows build is new and we have not yet run it on Windows hardware ourselves. If it misbehaves, that is worth telling us.
1 · Open the disk image
Double-click the downloaded file and drag Benji into your Applications folder.
2 · First launch
Right-click Benji in Applications and choose Open, then confirm. macOS asks once because this beta isn’t notarised yet - see the note below.
3 · Let it set itself up
On first run Benji downloads its inference engine and a model sized to your Mac (about 3 GB). After that it works offline.
Why your computer warns about this build
Neither build is code-signed yet, so neither Gatekeeper nor SmartScreen can verify the publisher. On Windows, choose More info → Run anyway. On a Mac, right-click Benji and choose Open. If macOS insists the app is damaged, that is the download quarantine flag - clear it with:
xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Benji.appSigned and notarised builds will remove this step entirely.
One install, whole network
Using Benji enrols your Mac in the network under the Benji terms - with limits and a pause switch you control.
Models chosen for you
Benji probes your hardware and fetches the right open models for it. 8 GB or 64 GB, it just works.
Earn while idle
Plugged in and idle, your Mac serves the network and earns credits toward premium models and priority.
No desktop to hand? Benji runs in your browser - no install at all.
